Ansha Sholum is a small but vibrant community.  We welcome families, youth, empty nesters and the unaffiliated.  We are a flexible, independent, lay-led synagogue using the Eit Ratzon siddur (www.newsiddur.org).

 

Our spiritual leader is Elizabeth Beraha.  Our President, Melvin Zaft, is the third generation of his family to be involved in the synagogue's leadership.

In 2014, we celebrated our 95th anniversary, and are interested in learning more about the history of this and other Jewish communities in Lawrence. Come see the exhibit about our synagogue and its community on our second floor.
